Default What does this mean (inside Work wheel)

I'm in the market for some Work Vs wheels, and came across some but I notice they have this stamp inside of them. I just want to make sure their legit and not those cheap xxr wheels.

They’re the specs of the wheels. They appear to be Work VS-XX 19x10 wheels with a +38mm offset and 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

I have similar stamps on my Work Gnosis wheels. I believe mine were on the back of one of the spokes.

Hmm, that stamp says "VS XXR"...

The VS-XX bears a striking resemblance to the XXR 570: http://www.xxrwheels.com/wheels/xxr-570

But yeah I don't know anything about that label.

I don’t think I’ve seen that XXR model before. That’s a good point you made. They might be XXR’s then. 🤔

I’ve never had a pair of XXR’s up close to know what to look for. Real JDM wheels usually have a stamp with raised lettering in my experience.

When i asked him about the xxr he said their legit Work wheels and sent this pic. So I'm confused.

I'd say go with your gut - it's not like XXR wheels are cursed. XXR has even been contracted to build wheels as an OEM and for other aftermarket wheel companies. But I'd guess these are legitimate Work wheels.

A quick google search yielded this six-year old Clublexus thread. In post #7, the OP posts this picture of his VS-XX wheel, which looks very similar to your stamping (sorry for the orientation):

Then, in post #22:

I wonder if the "R" in VS/XXR refers to "reverse lip" construction? The picture above shows "VS/XXN" (maybe N stands for Normal?) so I think its safe to say that they are not XXR wheels.
