If you could purchase a 2001 Toyota Sequioa with 35-50,000 miles for the same price as a 1998-2000 Lexus LX470 with <70000 miles. Which would you choose and why. Any year of the lx more reliable than the others.

 

mmmmm. hard decision. but there is a pretty big gap between 35,000 miles and 50,000 miles. if the sequoia is up there in miles (more towards the 50) i might lean towards the LX. something bout being made in japan maybe. of course it's a case by case basis....you know, assuming both are the same reasonable condition.

 

The LX is based on the LAnd Cruiser, one of the most formidable SUVs ever made. The Sequioa is based on the TUndra which is also strong but my $$$$ goes to the Lexus Land. I am not huge on the looks of the Sequioa, very bland to me, even with TRD equipment and wheels.

The interior of the LX owns the Sequioa. I don't need all that room in either.
