How your car tires are made
Ever wonder how the tires on your car were built? Your life, of course, rides on them every day. This is an interesting video showing how modern radial tires are made....the processes, materials, and machinery/stamping involved.
In the U.S., the tire-industry was once concentrated in Akron, OH, but declined with the exportation of jobs and the tire-industry to other regions and countries. I've been to Akron...my late uncle/aunt and cousins lived just a couple of miles from there.
