Hondas fuel dilution issue with the 1.5t and 2.0t is a serious problem. I spoke to a mechanic about this and he chalked it up to poor quality piston rings. Oil gets burnt inside the combustion chamber on one end, fuel seeps into.the oil crankcase on the other. 0w20 oil makes the seal between the cylinder wall and the piston ring worse.

otherwise, the engine feels good. I was highly impressed with the newest Honda accord when I test drove it.

They're very impressive. My cousin had a new Civic and it was a great car. They're just not deserving of being held in the same regard as pertains to reliability as Toyota.

I mean, look at the new Odyssey forums...
