I made it from a VQ35DE Infiniti G35 V6 engine, with the pistons mounted to support a 6mm piece of glass. Scroll down to see how I made it, starting with degreasing everything, preparing, and painting with metallic chrome and bronze paint for a nice contrast. I test assembled it outdoors and then took it back apart to lift it inside and reassembled.
It has won many awards for engine of the year, saw the awards when I worked at Nissan HQ in CA.
It sure was an awesome engine in its day, though when they got older they did have their share of issues (oil burning). Its too bad the rest of the cars Nissan attached these too fell apart well before that.
