This boils down to making sure the Chinese market is happy and they makes lots of money from Chinese sales, all about money and profits. They don't want to spend the money to build a ugly version for the Chinese market and have a normal version for the rest of the world so the rest of the world has to suffer those monstrous grills and other ugly styling cues and trends to satisfy Chinese tastes. It is not just BMW that is doing this.

Definitely can, lol! Me and my brother have been car enthusiasts since we were kids, we would always look at the front of cars and always noticed they resembled faces with expressions. We would try to make the faces and guess what car it was,lol
