Kia Mohave (Borrego derived)
. So there is some sort of market for body on frame somewhere.
Us?
Unlike you and your former 2006 (?) Explorer, I personally don't own a BOF vehicle, and have not since the 1970s. But, like it or not, BOF does have some advantages not shared by unibodies....in many cases, easier accident repair, heftier towing capacities, and better off-road suitability, although there are indeed some unibodies that also do well off-road.
I'm not downing the JGC one bit....in fact, I did several reviews/test-drives and was generally pleased with each, especially the first-year 4Gen 2011....after 2011, the interior, IMO, lost some of its richness in trim.

So the Jeep Grand Cherokee (not BOF) is not worthy huh?
What is wrong with more choice anyways? And the 2 best selling vehicles in the US are body on frame

I doubt it will happen. But Kia has the K900 and that is unique, rare and sells in very low quantities. I am sure KIA could make is happen.

That new Bronco, based on the concepts, is a niche vehicle anyway. I'm not convinced one thing has anything to do with the other. I think this draws way more buyers from 4Runner than Bronco.
Mohave interior looks much more cohesive and elegant than the Telluride. Now if they could only make something like that in a 5 passenger/2 row vehicle. Would love something this size but with the extra storage instead of the 3rd row.
The Bronco is aimed directly at the Wrangler with the supposedly solid front axle and removable top/doors. While another BoF entry into the SUV market would be nice, not sure they would actually compete.
Not sure I agree. Bring them on. The market is completely flooded with crossover/unibody SUVs today.....but many traditional smaller BOF SUVs are available for choice in the American market? You can count them on the fingers of one hand....if even that.
GM, recently, for example, could have introduced a true Blazer, but chose, inserted, to give us an awkward-looking crossover.
