Registering a car in another state
Ive made many posts about this same question, but could never get what i was looking for.
im looking to get a Import its 25 years old and already in the US. Im currently in california, we have very strict smog and carb.im looking to know any information about registering in another state to not deal with carb and drive down in california for a while like years till i pick up another maybe legal car😂. Looking to maybe register pretty close like oregon, washington, nevada, arizona. Preferably Oregon because i have family down there. But any help is appecriated.

You have to have a legal address in another state (or be active-duty military) before you can register a vehicle there. The definition of a "legal" address, though, can vary from state to state, so check with the DMV of that state in question.
In Fairfax County, VA, where I live, we have both state and county registration. Some vehicle-owners try and register their cars out of state (or in another county in VA) to avoid the personal-property taxes and EPA emission-requirements in my county....but if they do so fraudulently, don't have a true legal address there, or get caught, there is a fine for that.

You may not have been given the answers you were looking for, but you got correct and accurate advice on all your prior threads.
Asking the same question again isn't going to change the correct answer, which is (and always was) that you cannot legally do what you want to do.
Respectfully, perhaps you might be better off looking at other cars...
