Yes; what good do V4 chargers do for you and me? My guess is, nothing, righ now... What does Elon have up his sleeve?
Well, not much right now. But when I get my Model Y and travel, the faster charging rate will definitely make a difference. If you can save 10 minutes on charging while travelling, that's a win. For those with older battery packs and 400v charging, no benefit. Although an Electrify America support person told me that if I use a 350kW charger, it will give me 11 miles per minute instead of 9 miles per minute I get using a 150kW charger due to the higher voltage being pushed. Not much, but when travelling, every mile counts

That's the point; I do not think the Model Y, or any current Tesla passenger vehicle, will benefit. Only the Cybertruk and SEMI can accomodate the V4 Superchargers.

Oh I see what you are saying. They will be running Megawatt charging, but you have to look to the future. That's where the benefit lies, and that's why Tesla is ahead, they think 10 years ahead of everyone else
All this talk about different charging infrastructure is confusing. To figure out what supports which type and how fast it'll charge, etc I don't think I could ever get on board. It's just so much faster and easier to pull into a gas station for a few minutes and be done.

It's not confusing at all. There are two types of charging stations that exist....one for Teslas, and one type for non Tesla's. If you don't own a Tesla, you go to any of the thousands of non Tesla charging stations or you charge at home. If you own a Tesla, you go to a Tesla charging station or charge at home. What's the confusion? I'm not confused, nor are the millions of Tesla owners. Are any of you Tesla owners reading this thread confused?

Or to a non-Tesla charging station?

Non Tesla owner confused and dismayed about owning a Tesla.
I find that very interesting that someone who has no skin in the game is more concerned about EV ownership (Tesla or non Tesla) than we the actual owners are. I'm glad they care though
