Ford, particularly with the former Mercury Division, has a history of using cat-related names.....Puma, Cougar, Lynx, Bobcat, Jaguar (a company they one owned), Panther (a platform), and they provided Ford engines for the Sunbeam Tiger.

Lynx.. the best thing about it is the music from this commercial.
