Looks nice but I would rather have the Continental GT coupe, just looks nicer and one of the nicest GT coupes available. If I was to get a Bentley Sedan it would be the Mulsanne which has a nicer interior that rivals a Rolls Royce, it is nicer in my opinion. The Flying Spur/Continental look to have very nice interiors, nicer then the S class and just about everything in its class though the picture above with that wood does not look so great. The one thing I don't understand is why they designed the flip screen screen to have 3 surfaces with one that is just plain black piano trim, I doubt anyone would want just the plain flat rectangular trim mode for the interior, they would either want those nice analog gauges or the nav screen.

I kept looking at the pics and wondering where the screen was... then I watched the first few minutes of the Continental GT video and saw it flips around when the car is turned on. Cool concept and beautiful interior. Typically haven't been a fan of Bentley's but have to say this is really well-executed.

I'm sure it can be spec'ed with the gauges.

There are some interesting subtle changes. Nice to see they are bringing back the flying B emblem like I had on my Turbo R. Don't like how they removed the wood door caps to the tops of the front and rear doors. I'm surprised that they removed the two center round air vents that has been classic Bentley for years and years.

why do you have to be a debbie downer and i doubt it will lose that much in 3 years, but even if it does, anyone who can afford to buy or lease a Bentley doesn’t care.

Yes, that is remarkable for a car that, even empty, weighs the better part of three tons. But how many Bentley/Rolls owners actually drive that way (or pay their chauffeurs to drive that way)? While, yes, the Bentley Continental GT is somewhat sport-oriented, still, these are primarily cars to sit back in, relax, get out the Grey Poupon, and let Jeeves do the driving.

I know it can be spec'ed with the gauges, I just don't understand why it has 3 flip modes with one being without the gauges or screen, it just looks so plain without the gauges or screen. They should have either just given it two modes with either then screen or the gauges or done something more interesting with the 3rd flip option like maybe a picture/art/metallic design, or something more interesting instead of no gauges and no screen.

That is why you buy these types of cars used and save a ton of money, at least until the repair/maintenance bills start rolling in which means a extended warranty is a very good idea.

I simply do not understand how people can bring up the value or repair costs of these vehicles. These vehicles are for the very wealthy, how can someone afford a $250K car but not have the money to repair it? Plus, most wealthy people have more than one car, and most wealthy people are not in the habit of racking up kilometers on a crazy basis. I agree, no need for the negative Nancy's

I will always remember that thread about "What scares you about the S-class?" but if someone has $100k to spend on an S-class, and if they keep it long term. How do they then not have the money for a repair?

I guess you’re not on Bentley’s mailing list then...

Thats the great thing about a vehicle like this, you can have it any way you want it. I actually like the plain wood.

Everybody different. I'd much rather have this than any sports car/exotic car.

That's true, but pman still has a good point. I agree with him. Though the Continental GT does have some sport-orientation, Bentley and Rolls products are primarily for sedate driving. If one wants to canyon-carve, there are far better vehicles for it that don't have to push 2 or 3 tons around a tight curve.
