Actually, IMO, no it's not. I meant exactly what I said. Although I can (and sometimes do) make an error or typo in posting, when I describe a vehicle, I call it exactly as I experience it.

Having said that, though, I don't mind a little humor here and there. I sometimes post it myself.

Upward-rising gas prices probably aren't helping big truck sales. But we have to have a traditional full-size truck for our condo.....we can't substitute something smaller or more thrifty at the pumps.

If Ram is bucking the trend, I can see why. By truck standards, it is a true pleasure to drive...more so than the Silverado. But I respect the fact that he is leery of an FCA product from a reliability standpoint. And we rely on him and his assistants for a LOT of needed work around our development...the last thing we need is him lying awake at night worrying about his truck, rather than getting a (needed) good night's sleep.

I like the exterior design but not the interior.
Ford's Ecoboost is keeping Ford up there.

I recently bought a '19 Ranger Lariat. Great truck with an Ecoboost 270 HP and 310 lbs of torque out of a 2.3L turbo.

Was not aware of that. Yes, good vehicle. It’s an international design I think. Not solely made for the US. I think that is cool.

It's been in Australia a few years but a new drivetrain here.

Congratulations on the purchase. I've driven both the new F-150 and Ranger, and the Ranger, though lacking some of the payload, is significantly easier to maneuver and park at close quarters. That can be a real help in getting it in and out of some garages.

Yep, engine and 10 speed trabs.
I only had interest in the Tacoma and Ranger.
The Tacoma looks dated to me and it's tech is awful. Ford's Sync3 is great. User friendly and quick. Seat comfort is better. A lot more power and much better ride and feel behind the wheel.
