Default did you know tesla's blind spot monitoring etc doesn't work in fog?

because they use cameras and not radar... smh. musk has made no secret of his loathing for lidar/radar, but i think it's just about cost cutting.

i'm assuming auto pilot doesn't work in fog either.

edit: i read tesla's do have front radar but not rear radar which is used on other vehicles to accurately spot moving vehicles in the blind spot area. so maybe autopilot does work since that's forward looking.

Toyota has information as well. Their blind spot system may not work in fog, rain and snow. Its not just a Tesla thing
