IS350 is ok in the front with the seat all the way back, but its a very poorly built car. The only thing going for it is the engine, everything else is terrible.
Interesting, my buddy canceled his Miata order he said he could not get comfortable in it as much as he tried, and he's only 6'2". Yet he was fine in the M2 but keeps saying he can't do the 61k (he can and if I were him I would). The real problem is he says its a 3rd car and he's not married and no kids.

I like the SC430, my other buddy says that is one of the ugliest cars he's ever seen. I don't agree. And being the owner of a LS430, I am familiar with the powertrain, it's likely to not have any issues. But I do notice the SC's prices are way more than the LS, not sure it's worth it. I'd rather get a BMW convertible myself. Part of the appeal of the convertible imho is the flash factor, so I wouldn't be a good candidate...

OK - one of the reasons we have decided to go with a Lexus is the cost/frequency of service. I'm hearing a few people out there saying that the SC is a pricey car to maintain, but most say it's a tank and indestructible. I've always been under the impression that cars like BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, etc. are expensive to maintain but that the Lexus is quality and less expensive to care for. We plan on getting an 06' or later model. Thoughts?

M2 has plenty of leg room and head room, fits me perfect. SC430 has this ridiculous back seat that limits how much you can recline the front seat, and the headroom is severely limited. At least the miata is a two seater, and actually has more space inside. I was seriously considering the SC back in 2006, but after test driving one if was off the table.

I have sat in and test drove various miata's and always thought my SC430 is way more spacious and comfortable inside

Agree, the Miata is too small for 6'5". SC430 is a much bigger car.
