If you cant beat em, copy the Big Screen from Tesla LOL.
Looks well integrated, and WHO SAID TOUCHSCREEN are on its way out lol .
Setup is Home in the lower center, and from the looks of it, this maybe running android but carified from the icons.

Already a new S-Class, or is this a heavy refresh (all new interior)? Body is very similar. Remember when S-Class's used to run a decade?
That screen looks like it'll be fun to use under the sun at that angle!

well that's not what bothers me, i just think it shows cheapness and laziness on the part of the automakers to replace all that potential design with a big screen, which is only visible when the car is running anyway lol

It's going to be more interesting to see what's hiding under all that camo as far as drivetrain/suspension/autonomous capabilities. The exterior styling is beautiful as always. Benz does evolutionary tweaks on the S vs wild statements. That's a good thing. Love the rear end and the rest of the car looks like it should be a more chiseled version of the current S.

No issues with big screens here. As long as commonly used buttons can still be accessed via a button and not hidden in layers of menus.
Clean interior design has been all the rage for years. First it was small touchscreens removing some buttons in the late 90's, then mouses and ***** further cleaning up the dash in the early 2000's, now as tech advances into 2020, even bigger screens are available. Every car is going this direction. I think we are well past this being a "trend".
