Stanced Scion FR-S Spins On Camera, Promptly Hits Pole
Hercules says he wasn’t trying to drift when the accident happened, though it does sound like the engine was under full throttle when the car broke loose.

a-hole was totally trying to drift, he crashed before he could do it that's all.

Sad that he crashed, he must have put a ton of money into that ‘thing’.

I watched the video. I don't think he was trying to drift, either...the roadway itself was pretty straight. Looks like he simply had too many RPMs and tried too much of a shift under those conditions, breaking the rear tires loose from too great an RPM/torque-change. Classic accident....not that unusual. Happens quite often, particularly with V8 Mustang jocks.
Glad he or no one else was hurt....and I hope he learned a hard lesson from it.

Yes, I saw the left turn lane, but it was difficult to determine if he was going for it or just lost control of the rear end at about that moment. IMO, It looked and sounded like a torque shift to the rear wheels rather than yanking the steering wheel. Of course, only the driver himself can really fill us in on that.
