SC300 turbo. Relatively straightforward (at least compared to the GS/IS), manual tranny, and still a classic design.

All of those can be turboed.
IS and the GS can also be supercharged.

Mike, here's a proposition my friend.

Turbocharged GS3. There's not many of them, just a handful. Also, you KNOW there's not many of them AT ALL in ATL. Also, you'd still be able to use most of your mods off your old GS4 so that will save you some money on mods. Also, as much as I love the lines of a coupe, for practical reasons I'd think twice about getting one. Think about how many girls you bring with you everywhere you go (I know Mike ) -- Do you think they'd put up with waiting for you to pull the seat up each time, etc? NOPE!

Turbo GS3 is the answer. Turbo IS3 has been done ... and of course ... i need you to be in something badass and unique for the dvd i'm planning on making PM me about that by the way

Pickup a 2000 GS 300 for around 25k.

SRT Stage 2 Turbo $6000 340rwhp

$3500 for a good set of 18's

$1200 for coilovers

I know this is baised but...

A little over a month ago I was faced with a huge decision.

95 SC300
94 GS300
or get a 98 GS300 and work alot more.

At the dealership I backed out of the 98 because it was too nice of a car for me and more then I could spend.

Then it was down to the GS or SC. After driving both of them twice I realized how similar they really are. Anyone whos driven both I know agrees.

There are not alot of 1st Gen GS's and on top of that TT first gens are almost non-existant. I almost see the 1st gen GS as a entirely diffrent car then the 2nd gen GS's. People think its a 00' - 01' untill I tell them its almost 10 years old.

I love the idea of a car that can take you and your 4 freinds out to eat, then on the ride back take you 11.7@133mph

No SRT for me. Still waiting for the 30 claimed hp from the intake and ECU.

GS3 is a 4 speed auto and no e-shift with the turbo. So I would have to buy a 01 model?

But 1st gen 1997 GS is a 5 speed right.

All 2nd Gen GS's are 5-Speeds. 2001 and up have e-shift.

1st Gen GS's are 4-Speeds.
