Agreed! I spend years working for both Cadillac and Mercedes. Always found it frustrating how even on the Cadillac V series, customers would walk in and say the CTS-V was for old people. Sometimes people get stuck in the past. Cadillac V series is world class. But the perception of it is far from it. |

I've seen some side by side pictures of the new LS and new ES, and have been surprised at how much they look alike. But then I saw a new ES in person and to me it was very obvious that it's different from the LS.
The LS does look smaller than it is, and so, in comparison, does not have the LARGE presence that the S-Class and 7-Series have. And despite what some people say, it does not look like a Panamera either. It is a modern Japanese interpretation of the full-size sedan. I am happy to see Lexus start to follow its own styling language rather than try to be another European sedan. I did not drive it but did sit inside. I found the seats, both the front buckets and the outboard rear seats, very comfortable and very supportive, and the most comfortable I have ever sat in. |

A bit cosy on the inside. It was very softly sprung and also very softly damped. It has electronic variable dampers which automatically reduce the valve opening in some 8 steps, or it can be manually set to Sport to use the smallest valve damping opening. Because it was low, it can't have that much suspension travel. The 3GS had L-Finesse style. The 3GS sold a lusty 33k+ on debut, and this led to its replacement by the 4GS... |

Less body roll for sure. However, the ride was still smooth in Normal mode. |

No. Not only are they two completely different platforms, but the Camry is FWD, the LS is RWD/AWD. |
