Lexus Leather Stains
I searched the Club Forum for any information as to where I could purchase the correct "Sadle" color stain for the worn leather spots in my 2004 Lexus SC430.
I used a too thick Auto Molding Trim Pry Set (from Harbor Freight) & scuffed the edges of the leather when removing my Navigation/Air Conditioning module from my dash.
(It seems Lexus dealerships don't carry stains for the leather in their vehicles).
I found several posts about a paint for the leather, but "paint ain't stain."
After searching on the internet I finally found a compay that carries the Lexus leather stains and has a chart with the colors and their stain numbers.
The company is Leather World Tech (www.leatherworldtech.com). They use the Lexus names with their color charts.
Their Saddle Stain is their stain number EL 111.
I emailed them to confirm (sales @leatherworldtech.com) and they said they use he Lexus names with their color charts.
So I ordered the stain and will be using it since using a paint seemed a last resort for folks who could not find the proper stain.
I hope this post helps everyone.
