These japanese magazine renderings can thankfully be really inaccurate somtimes. lets hope this is one of those times.

 

Hopefully that aint it. The massive bustle butt looks like a blown out '80 Cadillac Seville. Terrible.

 

apart from the mandatory spindle grill dislike, i see no problem with the front view


i knew the back view reminded me of something though...

 

This new 4IS rendering reminds me of the old Acura TL's flat high rear deck. However, it is only a rendering.
Except for the new 5LS and Toyota Crown, the latest Lexus products like 7ES and 1UX look nice, and should sell quite well.
Everyone has their odd bad days like 5LS and the Mercedes AMG GT 4 Door Coupe which doesn't look that flashy either IMO, but Acuras have been consistently poorly styled for probably 15 years now - hence a major factor behind their decline.
