EVs Create a Catch 22 for the Industry

i don't see it as a catch 22 for the industry, whose purpose is not to preserve jobs.
now it's no doubt alarming for governments as to decreased employment in that industry.

 

Silly biased article--he says "Although consumers largely prefer vehicles with internal combustion engines" and then a bit later he admits that EV sales are 1% of the total output! Seems to me that"Consumers OVERWHELMINGLY prefer" internal combustion engines.

Someday EVs will be much more common. Someday we'll have flying cars. In my view neither is gonna happen soon. The industry and its jobs have decades to adjust.And I think the ICE is going to be with us for a very long time.
