Don't get me wrong, I think this thing looks sick — and I don't really care about boats. But this seems like an awfully expensive thing to build without a buyer, and I imagine yacht people are pretty particular. So what do you think? Will this thing actually happen?
Now all we need is a Tundra based Lexus truck to tow this yacht
I am almost certain this is sarcasm, but since sarcasm doesn't transmit via the internet very well I will just say this...
You can't tow this with a half ton pickup. You need a 1-ton (F-350 or larger) to even move it. To safely (and legally) tow it, you would need a Medium duty platform (F-650 or Freightliner/International type chassis) and a tri-axle gooseneck trailer setup.

Honestly, I could see a market for it. I have travelled all over the caribbean. There is a lot of money, quite literally, "floating around".

Well, knowing Lexus and their penchant for value-for-money, I would bet this would be somewhere in the $750,000 to $1,250,000 range. If you price other motoryachts in its class, you can surpass the 5, even 10 mil mark pretty fast. If the base price is $1M, add a few options (doing anything on a boat costs more than on land), and you are looking at a rapidly increasing MSRP. If anyone here has ever custom-ordered a Class-A Motorhome or Motor coach (the big ones that are like $250k+), they will tell you its the same kind of thing. Everything has to be made of super light materials, and have creative use of space. It all has to be as energy efficient as possible too. All those things add up quickly.

She's kidding because of all the backlash she took over suggesting Lexus make a pickup lol

It looks like it could tip over at any moment lol. I would buy this though, if I had the coins to do it.
It’s no telling. But I’m sure it will be interesting to say the least. A few years ago they debuted a real working hover board. All I wanna see is a 2020 LF-Gh concept!
The hoverboard was pretty wild! The video of the pro skater getting the hang of it was awesome!
