Mazda still wants to sell a flagship rotary car... depends on financial standing

It seems that they do still want to make this happen (and not as a range extended EV either) but as such a small automaker trying to grow their overall sales and enter the EV race, they need to keep doing well financially if it's going to happen in the window that regulations will still allow it.
