Saw one next to me on the highway and from the side I thought it was the RR Evoque. Red and had the black roof accent (not sure I've seen anyone other than RR do this to this point). The front and rear tail lights are the Volvo give-away, but man from the side it really looks like the Evoque.

I bashed Lincoln for trying to style the Aviator to look like RR (from side and the sloping roof line) so I guess now I have to bash Volvo to be fair. I guess everyone wants to copy RR design elements.

 

I don't think the Volvo XC40 & RR Evoque looks alike except they both have two tone roof accent.

 

I've seen a few XC40s around and find them to be very stylish. I like them a lot, but I don't see a similarity to the Evoque at all.

 

I, like them inside & out, especially driving in "Dynamic mode". The worst thing is most comfort / entertainment/ controls take 2 or 3 steps to complete. ( XC40)

I like this a bit more than the Evoque in some ways. Seems like a more usable vehicle.
