Update, Chrysler approved the new radio, its on order. Picked the Pacifica up today and we can drive it until the new radio comes in...

Happy to be rid of the Patriot LOL

Driving the Pacifica home, definitely a nicer van than the Sienna, but reliability is reliability...

It's probably a 2020 model in 2019. If we can wait for the Supra for as long as we have, this should be a easy. Still, Toyota loves to let their models languish, while Honda, Kia, and Chrysler put out some strong products. Guess its still better than Nissan.. do they still make the Quest?

Nope. The Quest went out the door at the end of the 2016 model year, from declining sales.

Nissan really screwed up the 3rd-generation version, inside and out....sales never recovered from that.

Saturn did the same thing (if you remember) with the Ion....one of the things that started the division on its downhill slide.

Sienna is US only model, it cant be renewed every 5 years... I doubt others do it either, it is just how cycle works - Sienna gets old when others get their updates and then Sienna is fresh on its own among competitors.

No, the Sienna is a generation behind now. This is the third refresh of this generation.

when i see abominations like this, i think how much contempt and disrespect must a company have for its customers to think they'd LIKE to be in that thing?

I feel like Toyota was forced to extend the life of all their models because their new platform was just not ready. Although wasting development time and money on super low volume sports cars might have contributed to the delay in mainstream models. Although I do feel Toyota should have done a major overhaul of the Sienna before the Avalon.
