Tinting moonroof.
Most our vehicles we have got the side and rear windows tinted. I read on the forum about someone getting their moonroof tinted. Never had thought about that because most of the time we keep the shade pulled because just to hot and to bright. The other day, I went back to get it done. They told me because of the heat buildup if the shade is closed they have to use reflective tint. I got 20% and blocks 50% of the heat. I now am leaving my shade open even at noon on 90 degree days. Cost $75 and well worth it IMO.

I started tinting my moonroofs a couple years ago and found they really helped a lot. Not only does it keep the heat out, but I enjoy having the extra sunlight without having the mid-day sun glaring through like a hot spot visually. I usually do a light 50% tint which does it for me.

in a Mini Cooper S I had w/moonroof + white top I had the glass covered in white vinyl, worked wonders for the Texas heat. Main problem was there was only a thin mesh that allowed too much sun to come in without the vinyl.
