Hmm, I think the regular LC 500 has quad exhausts as well - I guess the "F" tips haven't been finalized yet?

Yeah, this looks like a really early prototype, but I love how far out that front fender flares out. Imagine how aggressive that will look when they put in the appropriate tire size in there.

That front fender is a lot wider. The tires look skinny in there. The rear looks different too, like a small diffuser below the exhausts.

By the time it comes out, it will be 5yrs too late, 100hp short, 100lbs overweight and $20k overpriced.

I really hope the release year really isn't 2023...do we even have V8s anymore? lol.

Maybe we'll still have them if they all run on Atkinson cycles and can deactivate all but two cylinders.

For the LC F, you know they won't do less than a V8. If they do I will be shocked given how stubborn they've been so far about keeping the 2UR-GSE alive.

Plot twist: they throw the current LS500 V6TT engine with different tune/turbos into LCF.

That might suck, lol.

In that level/price of car, yes, V8's and even V12's are not going away.

Which makes me think - LFA-esque V10 in the LC F would be pretty amazing. But I don't think it would make any sense. Fuel economy and power probably wouldn't match expectations for the class.

Just like the Ford GT has the 3.5L V6 Ecoboost? That really sucked too....

LOL, I was thinking the same thing. They can use the same path as the Supra and talk about it for years and show a ton of spy pics without providing any real pics or performance numbers just so we can talk about it ad nauseam. How awesome would that be?

I mean impressive output number and weight reduction, but goodness do we all hate it with a passion.

We shall see where this goes...but if 600hp is all they're aiming for, it's definitely going to be the slowest pony of the stable with others.

This will be next F car.
It will have TT V8 with over 600hp.
Unfortunately it will cost a LOT - base of around $150k.

Really looking forward to it. Should be ready by late next year as 2020MY.

Lexus needs LC convertible and GranCoupe to go head to head with BMW 8series.

At $150k, it will be DOA. At "only" 600hp, it will be DOA. Lexus cannot play in that price range, yet. The LC500 is already overpriced by $20k. The LCF should be at the LC500 price point to give the Germans something to sweat about. People that spends $150k will most definitely buy the badge and everything else is secondary or tertiary.
