I bought another one, 2015 model in February from the Austin Lexus dealer.
They have a new store out at Lakeway, which is way more convenient than north Austin.
I picked out the model I wanted and secured it in email.
The purchase took two hours total, with a fresh inspection, registration and new tires.

Email is a good way to document your conversations and quotes.
that's exactly what I tell them - to keep the qoutes straight I need to keep it in email until we have a deal - then I'll call if necessary.

Phones calls are usually BS and they'll say ANYTHING to get you into the dealer.

Done deal, drove it home last night. $2,267 below invoice plus additional $1,500 rebate. And they gave me an extremely fair price on the trade. This was done with a combination of emails and phone calls. Cannot speak highly enough of our salesperson.

As a sidebar, we had a very clean 2013 Honda CR-V as the trade. The Carmax offer was $3,500 BELOW my trade. I have never been so insulted in any dealings with Carmax.

Again....thanks for all the input. This site saved me thousands of dollars.

lol seems to be a YouTube thing, just take your Bugatti or what have you to Carmax for a cash quote. One would think these quotes are really adding to their overhead, kind of like when you drive into a muffler ship, they have all 4 wheels off your car and tell you that you need blah blah blah, when you say no, they take 20% off, when you say I gotta go, they take another 20% off. Someone transacts with carmax and the muffler shop, those people are paying for the other instances where they spend time and get no revenue...
