EXACTLY. That's why the tariffs are going to do just what they are intended to do....force companies to actually build in the U.S. if they want to sell here. The tariffs will not allow them to have a nice gravy train any more.....costs for them will go up if they continue to build their vehicles overseas, but the market, especially from folks like you who will not pay the price-increases, will not allow them to pass their added costs onto the customer.
So, in short, they will be forced to give up overseas labor, and re-open (or establish) American plants, which is exactly what Trump intended....to bring more jobs here.
