New Mercedes-Benz S-Class spied inside and out

My complaint is the entire section, from the gauges to the nav, are all one, plain, connected rectangle. You were pointing out just the nav area on other models. I am saying Mercedes takes it too far by making the entire section all one, plain piece. The other brands do not do that. They have a binnacle or dome above the gauges that have style and shapes that are pleasing or interesting to look at. That's it. Mercedes doesn't have to do what everyone else does. They just chose to go the most drab and lackluster way. Like I said, any five year old can draw out a rectangle for 70% of the dash.
Lucky for you, I am a huge car nerd and found the car of your dreams. 1972 Maserati Boomerang concept! You don’t have to thank me.

IMHO the interior of the current S Class is beautiful. Boxy? The only straight lines on the whole interior are the screens...

thats funny. 100% of the people who get into my car are amazed at my LCD gauge cluster and nav screen is one impressive piece of glass. IMO, its a really impressive display and most people have not seen anything like it.

What car are you referring to? I can’t see your signature on mobile.

E class. Before the S class refresh, it had a divider with buttons in between the two screens. The E class debuted with a one piece glass to house the two screens. The S class refresh then changed to mimic the E.
