They should've used red light DRLs (but it may not be DOT legal though)

That blue one is soooooooo sexy. I love it personally. I am not in need of a new ride, so won't be buying one new. But maybe a used one a few years down the road. So may cars to own and so little time (and money)

this thing is going to destroy SRT Demon resell values. Its pretty much 90% of a Demon without the Demon box

The build quality of Chrysler cars already destroys resale values.

On and on and on.......seems like this HP/torque race with the Challenger and Charger never stops. Wonder where the limits will be.

Hellcat is now $5,000 cheaper for 2019 - starts around $58k for 717hp......INSANE!
50 years from now these cars will be dinosaurs.

can find many used hellcat challengers for mid-high 40s. This price drop maybe bring used ones down a tad

I suspect that many potential buyers/owners simply can't find affordable insurance for them.......especially if their driving record is less than perfect.

Gotta love that they do let the crazies out of the padded room at MOPAR and actually make some really insane high performance cars.

I don't know if anybody watches Regular Car Reviews, he did a review on a Hellcat and kind of came away with the conclusion that yeah its awesome, but they spent a lot of $$$$ on R&D for this niche product. Meanwhile their regular cars sucked and didn't sell(Dart, Avenger, Chrysler 200) and then they said to the hell with selling smaller commuter cars all-together. His point was if they weren't spending $$$$ on Hellcat sillyness, maybe their regular cars would have been better and actually met their sales projections. I kind of get his point, but man the LX cars have been consistently kicking a@@ in the HP wars for the past 10-12 years now and nobody else has bothered to compete with them either.

the Ram TRX is going to be the next big one from MOPAR. Since it has a V8 its already better than the Raptor

Having driven the Challenger no amount of horsepower or widebody kit can help this car. It's a cheap drive of a car that does nothing right.

The fact that you can buy a 800HP car from factory with a warranty is amazing to me regardless of what brand. I like the Hellcat and Demon for what they are, with that being said had some fun with a Demon and Hellcat few weeks ago in Supra. Demon owner had got his a few weeks ago and is somewhat naive about Supras. He asked how much power I made I said most it made was 806 on E88, he said well mine is 800 from factory. He didn't realize I made 806 at wheels which is around 927 crank and my Supra was SE model no power seats amp etc...so my car probably weighed close to 1K less than his. His 800 is at crank more like upper 6 at wheels. His torque did come in quick but from a 40 roll it didn't matter I didn't even have to use rolling anti-lag or brake boost. Hellcat Challenger didn't even try lol. SRT cars always pick on me when I'm in GS and I have no answer for them ha ha but I really do like those cars I could see myself in a Hellcat Charger as a cruise around car.
