I am curious how these car subscriptions work and what the cost model will be.

You can check Care by Volvo or BOOK by Cadillac to get an idea.

Lexus just announced that new UX will be the first model to offerered on subscription model. No details were announced yet.

more convenient than leasing, more expensive. Basically an added value service.
