Agreed, I get a GM vibe from it.

I had a Vibe. That dash was rock hard plastic. It was noisy inside with a harsh ride. VERY reliable though.

Yup. We preferred the exterior styling of the Vibe vs. Matrix. Interiors were the same.

Remember, though.....several of the current Buicks are rebadged Opels (and, in a couple of cases, almost 100% re-badged Opels). If you don't like the interiors, keep in mind who designed them.

GM products, perhaps more than those of any other major automaker, run the whole range of reliability.....from excellent (Opel-based Buicks) to well-below average (large BOF SUVs)

We've all gotten off of topic.....myself included.

I don't remember seeing the 2019 Santa Fe at the D.C. auto show. Not likely, but possible, that I simply missed it. I didn't spend all that much time in the Hyundai display, except to look at the Kona...their new sub-compact CUV. Most likely, though, they displayed it at Detroit, and not here....the Detroit show overlapped the first two days of the D.C. show.

The front would have been much nicer (and aggressive) if they had followed the trend and offered LED headlights which would fit into those slim profile DRLs. The bulky headlight/fog/turn indicator area detracts from the flow of the front.

I don’t think the new Santa Fe has been officially released yet. So doubtful I will see it at the Toronto show next month. But I shall look.

Good catch. The first official display is apparently going to be at the Geneva Auto Show next month.

https://www.motorauthority.com/news/...-fe-first-look

Hyundai on Tuesday released the first photos of its redesigned Santa Fe, the fourth iteration of the mid-size SUV nameplate, which is set for a debut on March 6 at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show.
I think I sent this to you before, but if not, here's the info you'll need for the Toronto show, if you are planning to attend.
