imho this car is on the right track, it would almost seem like many aspects are hits, and it comes back to the motor, maybe being an opportunity for improvement...
Lot of copy cat from BMW. Their engine longevity is in question. In Korea they are talking about this. We'll see in 5 years. As a native Korean(born and raised in Seoul) Sorry I am not interested
in Korean manufactured vehicles. Even in Korea in 2017 Hyundai sales went down more than 25% compared previous year. Same thing over here sales figures are static last couple years.
I was once a Sonata fanboy, grabbed one every time while on business, around 2010 and early 2011. I've always felt the motor was the achilles heel, and recall history etc. has shown that to be the case. It's just not something one can develop overnight, takes a lot of refinement. Though I've looked on cars.com and found Sonatas easily over 200k...

No, the American-market Tucson (currently) does not have a true manual, but upper-trim versions come with a 7-speed dual clutch...others use the 6-speed automatic.
Too bad it's not the TT V6, it's the regular turbo 4.
I am curious how the base engine is - from reviews I've seen it's gotta be at least "decent" for power, and good fuel economy hopefully. But the V6 seems to be a major selling point of this vehicle - if it were me I'd end up with the 6-cylinder.

first, the MSRP for the 4 cyl stinger is $31,900.
second, because it's lease pricing, it's hard to know what other shenanigans will ultimately go into an actual lease deal.
third, i assume by "special test market pricing" they mean "anything to get you in the door".

I would think the base 2.0t would be decent. The 4 cylinder engines in the targeted A5 and 4 Series Grand Coupe are very good.
could you include a lot less specific details, figures & graphs than this and instead just give us a very simple, broad & subjective personal opinion about the fuel economy of the car? would be helpful for those of us considering purchasing this vehicle, thanks
