People like me who were recalled due to Takata....2007 car, they provided a 2016 loaner for 4 1/2 mos. in my case, until the part came in. Some had loaners for 1 year and longer. We will still be getting money from a class action, how much? We'll see.

Now, there is a recall on the fan blower motor, and here we go again, people on the forum are getting loaners. I just don't want one, not for a blower motor. But the mentality is totally the opposite of denial. I mean some people fear their car catching fire with the blower motor, and BMW is giving them loaners indefinitely. Gotta give credit where it's due.

I think again its more the particular dealer. The nearest BMW dealer to me now in Pleasanton wouldn't give me a loaner for the Takata recall, but the one in Santa Clara ,where I used to live, gave me loaners for just about anything I brought the car in for. The one thing both have in common was the arrogance though lol.
