We will still be getting money from a class action, how much? We'll see.

Now, there is a recall on the fan blower motor, and here we go again, people on the forum are getting loaners. I just don't want one, not for a blower motor. But the mentality is totally the opposite of denial. I mean some people fear their car catching fire with the blower motor, and BMW is giving them loaners indefinitely. Gotta give credit where it's due.
I think again its more the particular dealer. The nearest BMW dealer to me now in Pleasanton wouldn't give me a loaner for the Takata recall, but the one in Santa Clara ,where I used to live, gave me loaners for just about anything I brought the car in for. The one thing both have in common was the arrogance though lol.

I just read an article about Lemon Law thing at https://www.lemberglaw.com/lemon-law-lawyers-attorneys/. Isn't this issue covered by Lemon Law? Have you checked and consulted this with a lawyer?

yes, I have looked into lemon law lawyer but the dealer GM asked me to hold on to that thought and let him poking around. He then offered me some trade assistance to put me into a new Lexus.

I got a new RX350 for my wife (for 15 days with less than 300 miles) but she hasn't driven it yet because it has other problems that need to be fixed and I hope Lexus can fix it this time.

yeh...what the hell is wrong with Lexus these days?

pissed at Lexus but you gave them more of your business?

Yeah, I guess he would.....so he can make a profit by not only putting you into another new car at his dealership, but also by putting your old one on the market so somebody else can buy it, give him more profit, and end up with the same problems you had.

yeh...what the hell is wrong with Lexus these days?
That kind of stuff can happen anywhere. I wouldn't just blame it on Lexus. The auto-selling business is far more honest than it used to be, but it is not perfect by any means.

The BMW in Pleasanton (as well as the Mini, Lexus, and Acura next door) are all Hendrick Automotive stores. The Lexus used to give loaners for anything now just for big services iirc. I'm not sure who owns the Santa Clara BMW. But maybe it was a Hendrick corporate decision that affected all their stores? I dunno, but you are correct they are arrogant
