Based on my experience, M3 will drive MUCH more sportier - not even close. GranTurismo is geared towards luxury not sport unless something changed recently, the one I drove was 2012/2013.
Like i mentioned the other negative is the lack of tech inside especially the multimedia interface.

I bought a '17 Gran Turismo almost two months ago to replace an F-Type (great car). I love the car. For sure the car is compromised (tech and quickness), however, the beauty of the car offsets the short comings. I considered an AMG-GT as well. There's just something special about the GT that Mercedes and the usual suspects can't match from an emotional standpoint.

Buy what makes YOU happy! It's just a car and 99% of them lose value.
