a client of mine has the 3.5 eco (turbo) and drives the snot out of it. no issues. REALLY fast too.

 

I'm going to have to conclude this squeak is audible from the outside, but not inside. There's no doubt what I've been hearing over the years. But it sounds like, at least from the responses here, any similar noise is not penetrating inside the cabin. Thanks all for the replies.

 

I've never heard this from the outside either, and that's the sort of thing I would pick up on...
