yup, sadly g80 outsells gs 2:1. the gs is a fine car but lexus seems to have a self-fulfilling prophecy of very limited inventory, limited options, thus limited sales...
yeah the gs is a very fine car, i have it as daily and it does everything right. it has a good price too. i really wonder if it has to do with marketing, or it's just that much easier for sales to push the es350 which is cheaper and bigger

well the spindle after refresh i wouldn't say was 'right' and i don't like the remote touch (looks, space it takes up, or operation). but certainly a super smooth, luxurious, competent car.

i don't think the spindle ever looks right anyway, funny to see how when sales are up you got bunch of people putting that on the grille, and then when sales are bad they can't find anything to blame on
i agree with the remote touch though, it's taking up so much space and honestly i don't find it better than bmw or mb setup
I never use my touchpad in the E, only the rotary dial. Interesting, the right thumb pad on the steering wheel controls the nav screen but I find myself using the **** exclusively. However, I just noticed that the rotary **** direction is inconsistent across screens. For example, to zoom in on the a map, you rotate left
leaked images/spy shots of early 2017 E class models before it came out only had the touchpad and no **** but it never materialized. I thought the new S class refresh would remove the **** but they didn't do that. Hope that never happens.
