Nice looking sites overall. It's interesting to see the manufacturers approach to their sites and marketing their vehicles.

I hate Audi website, it never works for me when I want to build a car!

though BMW gives me problem once in a while, MB is the most stable.

I think MB is most attractive. Lexus has a pretty terrible one...

First time at the Genesis website. Pretty well done there too

Audi's is fine but it lacks "character." It's just sort of a boring site to be at.

Mercedes' is really good.

BMW's was very good but just 1-2 months ago they changed their configurator, which is not as good as before.

I like Lexus' site but selecting options in their configurator is so confusing/irritating.

GM has never learned to make a good configurator and that trend continues for Cadillac. It feels so low-rent compared to the others.

BMW and MB website sucks. I like Lexus and Lincoln. Buick is pretty good.

Funny you mentioned that, because whenever I go into the Mercedes site to build a car I can choose the exterior color, then when I click on Interior I just get a 360 degree view of the interior with no prompt to select interior color. I can't go any further. In fact, I just tried it again and got this...

Great feedback. If you would, state whether you were checking it on a phone, tablet or computer.

I don't like any automotive web-sites that won't display the available interior and exterior colors until you actually get into the Build-Your-Own feature, where they show them as a build-step. The best sites, IMO, show them with the general gallery of the interior and exterior views, although even that won't necessarily show which colors are available in which trim-levels. That's one more argument why IMO automakers should offer all of their trim-levels with the same color-choices, and not vary them.....for instance, offing one set of colors in base-trim and another in upgraded-trim versions.

Of the specific list of websites you posted, bit, I liked Audi's the best, far and away. It is basically no-nonsense, and quickly opens to show a lot information up front, with a minimal amount of menu-navigating.The Lincoln site is not bad, but doesn't give enough details in the specs. The Mercedes site is fairly good for finding specific models quickly....not quite as good as Audi's. The Genesis site is rather hard to navigate, especially for just two basic vehicles.

Althogh it certainly is not a luxury-car website (and I'm not a fan of their products), one of my favorite websites is the Fiat American-market........clear, concise, and to the point.

I've always liked how Audi's site gives you really nice, BIG pictures of cars as you build them. BMW's site used to be the best for me, but now I think Audi and Benz have gotten better. BMW's sometimes doesn't work at all for me - i.e., I change something in the builder but never see it reflected in the preview images.

Lexus is... eh. It's not bad, but it's not up to par with the others. It feels like it's from 5 years ago. I do like it better than Cadillac. I think there's a lot of unused screen space on Caddy's site, which is also a bit slower to load in my experience.

I also like Genesis a lot. The builder doesn't give you a lot of options or views, but it's kinda hard to mis-use it. Also, props for making everything easy to read and big.

I didn't expect to like Lincoln, but their site is pretty nice to use as well - again, nice and large images, easy to read and navigate.

Bentley of course is just fun to use due to the massive amount of customization.

I've always though Porsche had the best site.
