Refreshed 2018 NX
Nice overall little improvements. The Nav screen and latest mapping, new RTI are welcome improvements. Most notably is the suspension tuning I've complained about since its debut. The current ride is pretty jiggly.
I want to see what the non-F-Sport exterior looks like.

Very nice updating. The front and rear styling are much cleaner, and easier on the eye. The best part are the new tailpipes. The current ones are too small and pinched. The rear now looks like the vehicle has some power to it, although the liberal use of black plastic still looks cheap.
Agree, name change is lame.
The 2.0t felt plenty strong to me in everyday driving.
Gear shifter is still on the wrong side of the center console.
Gold rims on hybrid are tacky.
F-Sport rims look weak, like the wheel covers or rims on the current Rav4.
I'd still consider the NX to be on top of my SUV shopping list. Overall, a very attractive offering at a low price point.

Ask and I shall receive! Nice JDR76.
Looks good. Honestly looks like a mini RX.. folks might line-up to toss their money at it.
I noted some other refinements like the chrome tips around the the window switches, less climate control buttons with the toggle switches, Auto folding mirrors, and the View button, so it may have the 360 monitor like the RX.

Where did you read that? I haven't been able to find that information. I would love that.
nice updates!
front end is MUCH more elegant to me. with improved ride as well and other new features it should sell like hotcakes.

this old article says the u.s. car front has to be different (worse) than europe's due to u.s. light truck regulations?

the US gets the more pointy proboscis is because of its classification as a light truck. It seems trucks are required to have some sort of concession to the car's approach angle – in other words, a truck should be able to clear an obstacle that a car might hit. Why does Lexus care if the NX is a car or truck? Well, that has to do with how fuel economy is reported, as trucks are given less-stringent requirements for Corporate Average Fuel Economy purposes.

I like how they upgraded the interior trim to a higher quality metallic trim but the faux carbon fiber trim really needs to go, felt like cardboard when I got my NX loaner.
