How to pronounce car brands properly

That was quite fun.
I lived in France for a short time. I found it interesting that the French also pronounce BMW as "B M Veh". My good friend there told me they say it that way out of respect for the brand.
My other interesting one while living there was Peugeot. I found pronunciation varied within France. I frequently heard both "puh-joe" and "puh-yoh".
And I loved the way they say Cadillac. "Cad-ee-yak".

^ Speaking of Clarkson, dude drives me nuts butchering the names of American cars. Says Camaro like CA-MAR-O, too much emphisis on the O and MAR, like you will MAR the finish on your car washing it with a green scrubie. Also saying Zed, instead of Z. Its not a Zed-oh-six Corvette or Zed R1. Also he calls a Mercedes a Merc for short, which is a bit confusing with a Mercury, but I guess they never had Mercurys in England.
