You also have the boss doing too much of the cooking.

When I did my test drive I asked the not salesperson why aren't there any grab handles inside the roof. The reply was that Elon felt they would clutter the clean looks of the interior.

I fully understand the guy is a big time genius and visionary but at the same time, don't be an idiot while you are at it.

Steve Jobs was guilty of a lot of similar things...

Agreed but Jobs understood what would be perceived as valuable to consumers.

Musk is over focused on 0-60.

He already has a very defendable position on that.

Now give the consumers luxury commensurate with the price point.

I've been in a P90D on several occasions, always stomping it, launching it in ludacris mode, etc.

The car is extremely fast. If you are a car enthusiast and like engine noise and some excitement, you will probably get bored of this thing VERY quickly. The fact that the car is so big and isolating with zero noise takes away tremendously from the driving experience. Aside from being fast at the lower end acceleration, it doesn't really offer much to keep you excited. If you roll race some actual fast cars, you will get your *** handed to you in a Tesla. From a dig, I would like to see something faster than a Tesla, probably nothing out there right now that can beat it.

The car feels like a high speed elevator.
