Greetings everyone, New member here. I've owned my IS since purchased new back in 2001. Seriously considering a '15 RCF which brought me here. Already I've found useful info on this car here with more to follow, I'm sure!

Welcome to CL. I owned a 2001 IS300 myself for almost 5 years...one of the hard-to-get, bright yellow ones. Very interesting car, with unusual features like the chronograph gauges and chrome-ball shifter. It had several quirks, though, in the design and operation of the climate-control system with recirculated air, transmission-shifts, and the shift-lever pattern itself. You must have really liked yours to have kept it so long.

Welcome to CL! I don't currently own a Lexus, though I've owned many, but I still visit here frequently because it is one of the most informative forums with a really nice group of members that are always willing to help.
