They started that here with ultra high end cars for owners in the city who don't need a car everyday. Seems to be going OK thus far, but I am guessing people respect each others property.

HELL NO!!!! Why would I let somebody I don't know borrow my car??? I'm not ****ing Hertz or Avis here. I'd be royally pissed if they scratched it or hell even went through the White Castle or McDonald's drive through and stunk it up with funky hamburger smell, even if they didn't eat them in the car.

I don't know if you guys feel this: letting someone have your car is like letting someone have a day with your GF.
I made a mistake to lent my Sienna which I bought new and drove for a year to my friends to go to California, when they returned my car it just felt different and I don't like it anymore, so I ended up traded it in one month after.
And when I had my 750, someone hit me from behind resulted 1k damage so I left the car to the insurance company for repair, I loved it so much but strangely after it was being hit all of a sudden I lost the feeling for the car, and I kept thinking the body shop guys might took it for joy ride, so 3 months after I got it back I traded it in again despite I had months left till my lease ends ( partly because I wanted to switch to a new car, but this played a big part as well)
i think I'm kinda extreme in this matter lol.
