Has anyone on here owned this car? I'm in the market for a daily. Since I sold my ls430 which was a big mistake
I've found this 2003 m45 for 4k and 114k with clean title. But I've heard about issues with transmissions on infiniti.
Should I buy this car or keep lookin for a 98-00 ls400.
Would like input pleaplease.
my favorite M series infiniti. didn't make them very long in that style. I remember when they came out back around 02. advertised as "the muscle car with brains" supposed to be good for 400 horses supposedly.
they are awesome cars and id love to own one. however they are rare as hens teeth and even rarer in the junkyard. if it takes a crap on you, parts are going to be a royal ***** to find I have a feeling

The M45 comes across as a bit of a long boat to me without any of the benefits. Nice car, weird styling and only around for two model years with this big body. I think Nissan/Infiniti were experimenting and hadn't figured out their "design language" yet. The following body style looked even worse with some sort of strange vanilla styling that almost resembled a Chevy Impala.
My choice would easily be the 98-2000 LS400. Such a classic style. Dunno about materials quality but I think it's going to be much nicer inside. I don't like Nissan/Infiniti plastics from this era and this car had that weird dash pedestal thing going on, not to mention the too long trunk which didn't translate into any more useful space compared to the LS.
