This is going to be interesting as when does a manufacturer books a "sale" and reports " units sold" . BTW BMWis also feeling the heat for their year end tactics of incentives to dealers to transfer cars to their service fleets and book them as sales.

This has probably gone on for decades, with only a few being discovered and accused. There should be higher standards and rules for following sales numbers.

A local FCA dealer has over 10 near-new Fiat 500X, all with less than 1000 miles, being sold as CPO vehicles.

Most likely used as rental vehicles for FCA.

Great bargains too, since they're selling for about $6k less than sticker.

Can't wait to see what they try to do to sell the 12s (still 3 or 4 2015s)4C they have at the FCA dealership near my house, in Québec. Ordering more than 3 per year is a risky bet, even more so when they are trying to sell them for MSRP at close to 80k.
