Two weeks ago I had a NX loaner for 4 days. Not my cup of tea at all... IMO it's not their best work.

Well, to be fair, they never claimed it was their best work. It clearly isn't/wasn't meant to be. It's entry level.

Not to rain on the parade, but I'm not really sure 16% increase in sales is that impressive when luxury sales were up 12% industry-wide. And still a lot of work to do to catch up with the European brands....

So lexus sold as many vehicles across all of europe in 6 months as they do camrys alone in one month in the u.s.

I can't say much about the rest of Europe's Lexus market. Irelands market is quite small. From what I heard Russians love their Lexus.

I think LX is only available in Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan but what I didn't know is that GX is also available over there as well.

I really don't know why Lexus doesn't offer LX and GX in western Europe. They do have few 4 cylinder options including diesel for Prado.
