Hi. I am endeavoring to find my dad's old truck.
The truck is a 1989 Ford F-250 7.3l Diesel Club Cab. My dad bought it off the dealership lot; and with it was able to put food on the table and raise a family. In 2008 we sold it because it wasn't being driven much. It was a truck that has a lot of sentimental value. My dad still reminisces about his truck. I am in a position where I would like to find it and buy it back to restore and gift to my dad. The only piece of information that I have is a VIN number. Is there any way to find the current owner through the vin #?

Have you tried a CarFax report? DMV might (?) also have some of that info, but they not be allowed, by law, to give it out to non-law-enforcement sources.
