Purchasing an extended warranty on a certified Lexus
Hello,
I'm currently looking into purchasing a 2014 CPO with less than 10,000 miles and was wondering what you guys thought about Lexus' extended warranties.
Are they worth it or should I just stick with the 6 year unlimited mileage CPO warranty?
Any thoughts / experiences with either the standard CPO warranty or Lexus Platinum Extra Care warranty would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Nelson

If you are getting a 2014 model with less than 10k miles, than you likely have the remaining time on the 4yr/50k factory warranty. The CPO adds an additional 2years of warranty after the factory warranty has expired. Essentially, without any extended warranties, your car will be covered for most major headaches until 2020.
IMO: Paying for anything more past 2020 isn't really necessary with the GS.
