Dealership Picutres Taken while waiting for Indoc
Last week I was invited to attend the new car buyers indoctrination seminar and the Lexus dealership in San Diego (Escondido). I was apprehensive at first but I decided to go. I was hoping to ask them if our NAV screens would be modified to full anytime soon like the 2016's. The good news, I got some cool free stuff but the bad is that I was the youngest guy in the group. The average ave was 70 and for a moment I felt real bad because I thought I purchased an old man's car. But when the presenter asked what car they drove, none drove the GS350 Fsport. Most drove the NX, RX and ES. Anyway, while I waiting to start the seminar I took some pictures to share with you:
Why get a 200T when a 350 is not much more?
Black on Black GSF is pretty nice.
Color grows on you. Plus looks much better in person.
Never liked the white GS's (2013-15) but the 16's look great. In fact, if I decided to go with another Lexus it will be in white.
Interior of the GSF is not much different than the GS250. But when I test drove MBZ AMGs they are not much different on the inside as well (seats are different).

More Pics
Like the new tail fin.
I really liked the fake wood trim in this model.
Front ends looks great to me.
Same color as mine but not a big fan of the black interior.
Love the rims.
Like them because of the two tone look. Like my MBZ E350 Sport
This LS had the factory black front bumper middle bar like what we are doing with our GS Fsports. Looked good on the car since it was shinny not matte.
I liked this color very much. If it was a Fsport with baseball leather interior I would of taken it. But had black like the old Infiniti G35 sports when they first came out in 2002.
I liked the small fog lamps on this IS. Would like to have it a 2016 Fsport.
This was a black on black Fsport. Really liked this one. Probably best GS350 Fsport on the lot.

The only reason why it took me so long to get into a Lexus was because of this picture. I was driving my wife's car a few weeks back and this guy read ended my on the freeway. I stopped and he tried and plowed into me at 35MPH. As you can see, the Toyota's front end was demolished and my wife's SUV survived much better.

Correction: The black on black "GSF" is actually an RCF. You can tell by the hood...the GSF doesn't get a breathing hole like the RCF does. The next picture below that clearly shows it's an RCF.
Anyway, good pics here. The reason Detroit went wild for the LF-LC is because it was a concept, and the actual LC500 which they brought is a production model nearly identical to the concept. Every manufacturer catches flack for showing off something sexy and wild then watering it down 5 years later IF it makes it to production. That's why it was a big deal. It also gets the F drivetrain with a 10 speed auto and a rumored 100k price tag. I'm sure it'll be a halo car for a very short time until the other hot cars they are working on make it to production, and I'm willing to bet the v8 is just there for a few short years.
Last note, I'm dying for that GS F interior, but it's out of my range for now. I love the carbon fiber, the alcantara door inserts, the seats, everything.

Nice pics. Two LFAs in the same dealership? Sweet!
Echoing Fizzboy7, no fake wood in the GS or in any Lexus, ever offered in 26 years of its history. Acura and Infiniti are the experts in this area.

Lol, I would imagine most "younger" people would prefer to stubbornly learn their car and indoctrinate themselves on their own, even if it meant not really learning it. Pride before the fall...
That's why you only saw that demographics as they have time and probably are truly bewildered.
No shame in hearing all you can from the horse's mouth. I'm still reading my owner's manual one month after purchase and had there been an indoctrination offered to me, I might have went lol and I'm in my low 40s.

that's my servicing dealership. one lfa is on display by a local patron who doesn't have storage for it, or something. the other lfa belongs to the owner of the dealership(s) (lexus of escondido and lexus of carlsbad) and is for sale.
